The Haunted Hunter @ Lemp Mansion Restaurant & Inn Lemp's latest comedy-mystery dinner features a detective story -- the tale of Billy the Spook. 14th Annual Hop in the City @ Schlafly Tap Room Try unlimited samples of over 40 different Schlafly beers during this annual brew bash. Tickets are $30 are in advance and $35 at the door. Noon to 5 p.m.

Art Uncorked: An Evening of Grape Expectations @ St. Charles City-County Library Try wine from Rolling Meadows Vineyard & Winery, Yellow Farmhouse Vineyard & Winery, Three Squirrels Winery and more. General admission tickets cost $10, and admission plus raffle ticket entry costs $25, including an event wine glass. 7 p.m.

Fiestas Patrias @ Cherokee Street Sip on margaritas and chow on fajitas, chimichangas and more during this celebration of Mexican Independence Day hosted by the Cherokee Street Latino Business Owners Association. Admission is free. Saturday, Sept. 15 and Sunday, Sept. 16 from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Food Summit @ Missouri History Museum This two-day event features workshops regarding issues of food access, food justice and community resources. Free.
