No Fatties for Texas, Except for Burgers and Hos

Tacos and Fat Hos are getting Texas some attention.

The 13th fattest state in the country was forced by a jury to reinstate their Miss San Antonio yesterday. Seventeen-year-old beauty queen Domonique Ramirez sued the Miss San Antonio pageant after a pageant official told her to "lay off the tacos" before stripping the size two beauty queen of her title.

Ramirez was fired in January for allegations of being late to events and for gaining weight that made bikini photos "unusable".

Upon winning her lawsuit, the reinstated Miss San Antonio offered the saddest advice ever for beauty queen wannabes: ""Don't go eating tacos in the morning."

Girls, you might want to lay off the Fat Ho Burgers, too. You are what you eat.

Elsewhere in Texas, a new restaurant in Waco is gaining attention for its allusion to bad fat girls - Fat Ho Burgers.

But the name's not about the results female customers might experience after eating the restaurant's burgers and tater tots. "It's not calling people a ho. It's just like they say, 'Oooh that ho is big,' or, 'That ho is tight!'" said owner Lakita Evans.

The Gospel Cafe, a church-based volunteer cafe and bookstore that neighbors Fat Ho Burgers, isn't too thrilled. "Would've been nice to think a little more sensitively," said Pastor Marsha Martie.

But Evans claims her cafe is all about good, inspired by the catastrophe in Japan. "Look what's going on in Japan. It's like clear this world is not gonna get any better. Why cry and be depressed? The economy is bad. Somebody gotta keep a sense of humor around here," Evans said.

Is it only a matter of time before they introduce the Fat Ho Beauty Queen Breakfast Taco?
