The Block (146 West Lockwood Avenue, Webster Groves; 314-918-9700) has opened its second location at 33 North Sarah Street, the Central West End space that previously housed Terrene.

The new location of the Block is open for dinner from 5-10 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 5-11 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Lunch and Sunday hours will be added soon, according to the restaurant's website.

The menu at the Central West End Block will look familiar to those who have dined at the Webster Groves original. Included among the dishes are the "Potted Pig" (pork confit), the burger and the daily butcher's cut of steak with the Block's house steak sauce.
