Brew Hub was founded two years ago in St. Louis, but its first brewery ended up in Lakeland, Florida. It's something of a shared office space: brewing equipment for craft breweries that don't have the capacity, capital or proximity to open their own brewpub. The second Brew Hub is set to open in Chesterfield in early 2016.

The Chesterfield location will also be Brew Hub's headquarters; owners plan to open five breweries nationally. In Florida, partner breweries Cigar City Brewing, Orange Blossom Pilsner and Green Man Brewing produce their beer and are in talks to do so at the St. Louis Brew Hub.
When it opens, Brew Hub will be able to produce 75,000 barrels a year with an eventual capacity of 100,000, bringing craft breweries to St. Louis that aren't currently available. Brew Hub will also have a 3,000-square-foot biergarten and tasting room. Partner breweries also get help with marketing, logistics, sales and legal issues.
Of course, Brew Hub St. Louis' arrival depends on approval from the local and state governments. It will be interesting to see what craft breweries take advantage of this shared office space. Do you think it's a good idea? You can find more info here.
