Well, here we are at the end of January, and Gut Check still hasn't closed the books on 2011.
At any rate, I totally missed this closing until I saw it reported by George Mahe of St. Louis Magazine in the most recent edition of his "Ins, Outs and Almosts" column:
Yagu Asian Fusion Cuisine (17265 Chesterfield Airport Road, Chesterfield; 636-536-3739) has closed. The restaurant's website and Facebook page are still up, but the phone has been disconnected.
Yagu opened at the end of 2009. My visits to the restaurant were most memorable for the flashing multicolored light cube served with an order of sushi.
