Friday (August 19):

Breakfast for Bikers @ Kaldi's Coffeehouse Hosted by Shift Your Commute, free coffee and breakfast is available for cyclists.

Around the World Wine Dinner @ Missouri Botanical Gardens Pairing each course with a different wine, chefs from Catering St. Louis will create a Greek menu. Food Truck Friday @ Tower Grove Park (4256 Magnolia Avenue) Sauce Magazine sponsors this monthly meet-up of food trucks including the likes of Schlafly, Papa Tom's Gateway Dog House, Sarah's Cake Stop and more. 5 to 8 p.m.

Pig Roast @ Broadway Oyster Bar Pork, roasted and served several different ways along with many sauces, is available in addition to the restaurant's regular Cajun-creole and seafood menu. Friday and Saturday.

Saturday (August 20):

Sample Days @ Ferguson Farmers Market Kamp's Peach Orchard provides samples at 10 a.m., Ferguson Cycling Club offers bike cleanings and safety checks from 8 a.m. to noon, and Boeing Jazz Band provides live music from 9 to 11 a.m. Free.

Grow Your Own Garlic @ Schlafly Bottleworks Schlafly gardener Jack Petrovic, along with his assistant gardener, Nolan Kowalski, will educate participants about the differences in garlic; how and when to plant; what to plant and why; and how to care for, harvest, cure, store and braid garlic. Free. 10 a.m. to noon.

Watson Business Association Trivia Night @ Epiphany Gym This event to benefit Watson's streetscape offers 50/50 games, a silent auction and, of course, trivia. There is a cash prize for first place and gift certificates from Stellina and Chris' Pancake House for second and third place. Urban Assault Ride @ Forest Park Langenberg Field This self-proclaimed "biggest bicycle scavenger hunt series in the nation" features a succession of obstacle-course-laden checkpoints located city-wide with an after-party chock full of New Belgium beers and prizes at the finish line. Register online for the New Belgium Brewing Urban Assault Ride by Friday at 4 p.m. $60. 9 a.m.

Splash'n'Soul @ The Royale DJ Ryan Katastrophe spins classic R&B on the patio for this Joplin fundraiser, featuring a sprinkler park, dancing, drinks, food, snow cones and a one-time kids' menu. $5 cover per family, with 100 percent of proceeds going to the United Way. 2 to 5 p.m.
