Grow Your Own Garlic @ Schlafly Bottleworks Schlafly gardener Jack Petrovic, along with his assistant gardener, Nolan Kowalski, will educate participants about the differences in garlic; how and when to plant; what to plant and why; and how to care for, harvest, cure, store and braid garlic. Watson Business Association Trivia Night @ Epiphany Gym This event to benefit Watson's streetscape offers 50/50 games, a silent auction and, of course, trivia. Splash'n'Soul @ The Royale DJ Ryan Katastrophe spins classic R&B on the patio for this Joplin fundraiser, featuring a sprinkler park, dancing, drinks, food, snow cones and a one-time kids' menu. $5 cover per family, with 100 percent of proceeds going to the United Way. 2 to 5 p.m.
