Update: Chris Ward wins round one, but there are still tickets on the table. To win Flux Pavilion or Beach House tickets, write a scholarly sounding sentence about one or more of the paintings. We'll give 'em to whoever makes us laugh the hardest.

Ringo Starr is taking his All Starr (...) band on tour, starting today at the Fallsview Casino at Niagra Falls and finishing in late July at the Greek in Los Angeles (the closest he comes to St. Louis is the Ryman in Nashville). But the Beatle will be taking more than his band -- featuring, among others, Todd Rundgren, Richard Page and Gregg Rolie -- on the road. A collection of his original, electronically created artwork will make "companion" stops at galleries and Hard Rock Cafes in select cities.

In good conscience we can say nothing about Ringo's art other than to direct you to some samples. But he's hardly the first celebrity to give the ol' canvas a stab. We've collected images of the work of fifteen musicians, actors and others and scrambled them. Match the artist to his or her Art and submit your answers in the comments -- whoever's closest gets a pair of tickets to her choice of Pageant shows: Flux Pavilion this Friday, Alice Cooper this Saturday or Beach House on July 11.
