We've just learned that Langhorne Slim will not, in fact, be appearing this Friday at Plush. According to the venue, the band ran into "vehicle trouble" and will not be returning this year. A 2013 stop is promised.
Slim tweeted the news yesterday that a blown transmission would prevent them from making a scheduled Kansas City show tonight; we guess the band is still marooned somewhere in the Great Plains.
We are unfortunately going to have to cancel tomorrow night's show in Kansas City at The Record Bar due to transmission failure in our van.
