This is Screwz of SNS reporting live from Austin, Texas, for SXSW. This place is crazy. Non-stop music and drinking everywhere you look seems to be the theme of things in Austin right now. St. Louis has a major presence down here too. Everywhere I look I see someone I know from back home. The SXMW show yesterday was dope. Everybody from back home was in there representing, Rockwell Knuckles, Nato Caliph, SNS, Whiteout and RT-Faq, 12 to 6 Movement; everybody you name em they were out there.
Illphonics have a few shows today [and] we will definitely be out there to support good music. [And] that's just St. Louis people -- I have caught a few surprisingly dope groups while out here. A group called Little Red Radio blow my mind when I just wandered in drunk of the street into their show. We wandered in to a dubstep show that was awesome at this place on 6th St. with performance by Mexicans with Guns and a guy named shlohmo that I heard for the first time. The people on the street are awesome too, they really get into the south-by- spirit of things. Basically [the trip is summed up with] a lot of booze and music, good weather, good times with some good people.
