11/11/11: Celebrate with the Eleven Magazine Cherokee Street Bash

It's 11 11 11 folks, which probably means the apocalypse is coming. Or maybe all these elevens mean you should just buy lottery tickets or something. So, how will you users of the Gregorian calendar be celebrating 11/11/11?

We have at least one suggestion: Our friends at Eleven magazine are throwing a big, sprawling shindig on Cherokee Street, starting this afternoon at their office in the Nebula building and running until 3 a.m. The participating organizations and businesses include a whole bunch of people with a store front on Cherokee between Jefferson and Compton. And if you include tangentially related shows at Off Broadway and 2720, there are nearly 30 bands playing sets in a half dozen of those store fronts. There will also be food, art, flowers, drinking and probably other things. A schedule we have a feeling is quite subject to change is below.
