Music Record Shop at .Zack has expanded to the space next door to provide a luxury suite, used as a spot for touring bands to host their meet-and-greets, as well as a green room. The space is also available to rent out, so now — for a price! — you and your friends can party like rock stars too.
The new suite, going simply by the name "303," is 1,500 square feet and can accommodate up to 50 people. It can host acoustic musical performances and DJ spins as well.
"Luxury" is an appropriate way to describe it. The suite is furnished with lavish couches and decor and has multiple TVs and a high fidelity audio system.
Music Record Shop has made headlines lately with the news that it was named the official record store of the 2017 LouFest Music Festival. The store will host a pop-up shop in Forest Park at the festival to sell records, CDs, posters and other merchandise from the performing artists.
Pre- and post-LouFest events will be held at the shop's Midtown location. And who knows? Maybe the likes of Snoop Dogg or Weezer will be taking part in the new glossy 303 suite.
In a press release, Music Record Shop says rentals will soon be available for bridal parties at .ZACK and to the public as a venue for small, private special events. Rates and information are not yet available but will soon be found at 303stl.com
