A Grand Night Out

Partners in both acrobatics and life, the aerial strap duet Duo Adamo consists of Andrew Adams and Erika Gilfether. After meeting in Chicago while working for the Midnight Circus, they combined their talents on the aerial straps to create an overwhelmingly beautiful and impressive act. Duo Adamo are in town performing with Circus Flora again, but tonight they move up the road a bit to officially open the first installment of Thursdays at the Intersection, Grand Center's free arts and music summer series at Strauss Park (Washington and North Grand boulevards; 314-289-1500 or www.grandcenter.org). The series highlights a different art form every Thursday night from 6 to 8 p.m. through July 15; future themes include literary/paper arts and set design/photography.
