A Quiet Walk

Laumeier is one of the few museums that's open every day of the year -- so take advantage of it today, when most people are busy with the traditional turkey/tofurkey/family/football brouhaha. There are plenty of people who prefer alone time to family time, and the park's 105 wooded acres provide plenty of places to get lost for a little while (Pool Complex: Orchard Valley, for example). But hey, if you're itching for a big, post-lunch walk with the relatives in tow, that's all right, too; just keep it quiet. Keep in mind that the indoor galleries and museum shop will be closed.
