With fire, pumpkins and bewitching glass manipulation, Third Degree Glass Factory's "Third Friday" event for October was a spooktacular way to enjoy the Halloween season. On October 17, 2014, artisans treated attendees to glass-blowing demonstrations, live music, a performance by the St. Louis Fire Technicians and much more. In addition, Third Degree and Astral Glass Studio battled it out in a "pumpkin death match," with the audience choosing which team created the better glass pumpkin. The event was part of American Craft Week, a national event to raise awareness of American fine craft.
