We Has a Winner!
The winner of the 2008 Unreal News Challenge is...Allen Lowen. Allen scored 96 out of the possible 100 points on this year's edition of the quiz, published in the January 1 issue. He was followed in second place by Christine Turland, who managed 93. Third place was shared by Ann Hayes and Tim O'Connell, at 91. No one else managed 90 or better.

A tip of Unreal's cap, though, to one James Edward Taylor, who mailed in an answer sheet with all the D's colored in. By our reckoning (and bear in mind that we scored these things while tweaking on Vicodin and vodka dranks), that strategy was good for a 27. Shoulda gone with C, though, James — you'd have gotten 30 right.

Allen Lowen's prize package is pictured above. Give us a ring and c'mon down to the RFT office, Allen, to pick up your swag.

You earned it.
