Beneath the veneer of exuberant optimism lies a tale of Depression era struggle and search for identity. Annie, a down on her luck orphan who leads a hard knock life, searches for her parents while trying to avoid the machinations of the drunkenly wicked Miss Hannigan. Her search leads her to Daddy Warbucks and even FDR. For this iteration of the musical director/lyricist Martin Charnin has spruced things up, ensuring that the sun will come out tomorrow for a new generation. 7:30 p.m. Tue.-Fri., 2 & 7:30 p.m. Sat., 1 & 6:30 p.m. Sun.
