Art Is Labor: Exhibit Oopening and Gala

A gala to celebrate the opening of the Art Is Labor exhibition and the 5th Anniversary of Bread & Roses Missouri. The gala features guests of honor, Jamala Rogers and Percy Green. The exhibit highlights labor history as seen through contemporary and historical art and artifacts. The selected work will explore topics such as social and economic justice and labor history, building a narrative that speaks of the workers of our time and recognizes artists as workers. The show is curated by Dail Chambers and will run through January 17, 2020.
