Art Rendered Raw

Just as a great mixologist combines disparate yet harmonious ingredients to muddle a magnificent cocktail, so does Raw: Natural Born Artists, a nationwide organization that blends creative spirits of all stripes, sharing their talents with their community. Tonight Raw: St. Louis hosts Mixology at Koken Art Factory (2500 Ohio Avenue; 314-776-7600). Local artists, fashion designers, makeup and hair artists and photographers will showcase their inspiring works, with aural artistry courtesy of musicians Levell Lee, Ellen the Felon with Mattronome and DJ Nune and performance art by the Big Muddy Dance Company. The event includes a cash bar and is 21-and-up; cocktail attire is encouraged. Tickets are $10 in advance, $15 at the door. For more information, visit www.rawartists.org/stlouis.
