Live music, dance performances, fashion shows, art installations and a hookah lounge are just a few of the follies you'll find at RFT's fifth annual Artopia at 2720 Cherokee (2720 Cherokee Street; 314-276-2700). This year's event runs from 7 to 11 p.m. and sees Cherokee Street closed between Iowa and Ohio Avenues, with local food trucks Cha Cha Chow, Feed Me Banh Mi, Go! Gyro! Go!, 2 Girls 4 Wheels!, Sausage Syndicate and Zia's Italian Food Truck parked and serving eats and treats. The party culminates in the awards ceremony for the RFT's 2012 Mastermind Award winners, and general admission tickets include two sponsored drinks, dessert bites and entertainment. Tickets are $30 for general admission and $60 for VIP access, which includes unlimited sponsor drinks and a private area with food samples.
