Bhagath is an orphan who completes the studies and is preparing for civils. His mother died when he was just a child and his father who is a Maoist disappeared after jumping into a river when police followed him and he had no way out. Bhagathe is young and thought his father drowned into the river. But, actually his father Shiyaji survives and comes back. Bhagath looks forward to be an IPS officer. Here enter Subhalakshmi in the picture. She is a simple girl and just newly married. Subba and Bhagath meet at the railway station. Her husband leaves her on the station because her parents could not arrange the promised dowry. Bhagath takes her to her house and tries to resolve the issue. But her husband and his relatives do not agree to take her back. Shakti is a local bad man who has links with police. He tries to kill Bhagath. In this encounter Shiyaji gets killed. Rest of the story revolves how Bhagath takes on with Shakthi.
