BandTogether Holiday Concert

BandTogether, St. Louis' LGBT concert band, traditionally presents one of the most complete holiday concerts you could want. The all-volunteer ensemble performs carols, winter-themed classical music and popular Christmas tunes in a fun and fast-paced show that always ends with the band's rousing take on "Sleigh Ride." This year, BandTogether goes Hollywood. Lights! Camera! Christmas! showcases music from silver-screen classics such as Miracle on 34th Street and Meet Me in St. Louis, as well as a special piece by the flag-and-dance unit inspired by the Christmas pageant scene in the Lindsay Lohan flick Mean Girls.

8 p.m. Sat., Dec. 20. The 560 Music Center (560 Trinity Avenue, University City; www.bandtogetherstl.com). Free admission.
Sat., Dec. 20, 8 p.m., 2014
