Bang Camaro

8 p.m. Sunday, May 25. Blueberry Hill's Duck Room, 6504 Delmar Boulevard, University City

Remember those old Skid Row records, which always sounded like twenty Sebastian Bachs were sharing the mic? Boston's Bang Camaro ate that shit up — so much so that the band hired every lion-throated singer who auditioned. But its use of twenty-plus lead singers to belt out old-school hair-metal numbers is more than just a great gimmick. With songs that could have been hits for Damn Yankees or Mr. Big, three flying-axe lead guitarists and song titles such as "Can't Stop the Night," it's easy to see why this tongue-in-cheek collective is quickly earning its spandex stripes.
