Bean On Up to Shatner's World

This Thursday denizens of Earth’s St. Louis colony are invited to boldly go where only one man has gone before: Shatner’s World. The ever-enterprising William Shatner is on a monthlong, fifteen-city mission, seeking out strange new audiences to take a multimedia voyage through his personal and professional life. Through storytelling, video and song, Shatner recounts filling in for Christopher Plummer in Henry V, discusses achieving critical mass as Captain James T. Kirk in Star Trek and even touches on his inimitable musical career. Tickets for the 7:30 p.m. launch start at $42, so fire up your warp drive and make the trek over to the Peabody Opera House (1400 Market Street; 314-499-7660).
