Best Burlesque Act

GoGo McGregor

There's more to burlesque dancing than sequins and a great pair of tassels. It's about being sassy and sexy and grabbing the audience in a fabulous way (if by the balls). It takes a special kind of woman to pull all that off, and the lady who has teased her way into our hearts is GoGo McGregor. The Gorgeous Gal from Glasgow's burlesque persona was born more than three years ago with the Alley Cat Revue. Now you can see her performing around town as a solo dancer and with other babes of the brazen and supportive burlesque community in St. Louis. With the style and flirty curls of a pinup, GoGo brings a demure and dominating presence to the stage that audiences eat up. When she slides off her elbow-length glove, flashes her black garter belt or, God help us, snaps her riding crop, our hearts, knees and other bits quiver. And although she has traveled all over to perform, she loves the genuine enthusiasm of local audiences — and the fact that they're "rowdy as fuck." With those amazing gams and that dirty mouth, it's no wonder GoGo McGregor is the delightful, dastardly lady of our dreams.
