Lemay's diamond in the rough, the Dry Dock Tavern, has been in business for more than 25 years, ever since co-owner Jim Gannon and some friends/coworkers from Bevo Mill decided to go all in and open their own traditional American tavern. "The Dock" is the perfect watering hole for any red-blooded American who enjoys glacier-cold beer while taking in up to six separate high-definition sporting events all at once. On any given night you can saddle up to the ornate oak bar and see NFL Hall of Famer Jackie Smith enjoying a cocktail on your left — and the dude who fixed your toilet last week on your right. For a smoky old-school tavern in the heart of Lemay, the restrooms are amazingly clean and well kept. Don't even bother asking if they have a kitchen or any specials, but the drink prices are always reasonable, and if you're hungry, grab the binder full of menus at the bar and order from wherever the heck you want.
