Bogey at 9 O'Clock

Join a diverse assembly of your fellow St. Louisans for a free outdoor screening of Casablanca on the slope of Art Hill outside the Saint Louis Art Museum in Forest Park (314-721-0072 or www.slam.org) and watch life imitate art, while onscreen a diverse cast of characters and cultures congregate at Rick's Cafe Americain. Those on-screen people will also be engaged in a collective effort to find some night time company, entertainment and refreshment from the oppressive heat, just like you. Bring a picnic, a blanket or a lawn chair, or a comfortable lap to sit on and make a night of it. There will be multiple mobile vendors selling hot and cold refreshments. The party starts at 7 p.m. with pre-movie entertainment by Kim Massie and the Sheldon Blues Band, and the film starts at 9 p.m. This could be the beginning of a beautiful...nevermind.
