The Workers’ Opera is an original theater piece created by workers, for workers. These performances consist of music, theatre sketches, storytelling, and humor, and highlight economic and social justice issues that impact working class people.
Led by director Mariah Richardson - an author, directory and more - our creative team includes distinguished local artists: Delaney Piggins, Michael Thahn Tran, Matthew Pace, and Kim Love.
Our cast of nine is crafting together this year’s performances with our creative team. The performers come from various working class jobs, some are union members and some are appearing on stage for the first time.
