Bringing Paperback

Like the typewriter and the record player, the paperback book continues to hang in there despite frequent predictions of its demise. And why not? Paperbacks never have to be powered down before a flight (I'm looking at you, Kindle). So get out there and get yours Sunday through Thursday (August 25 through 29) at the Jewish Community Center used book sale (2 Millstone Campus Drive, Creve Coeur; 314-432-5700 or www.jccstl.com). Saturday is preview day, when admission is $10 and the books are at their freshest. Admission is free all other days, and Thursday is bag day, when you can fill a bag of books for just $5.
