Campbell House Victorian Christmas

If you're pining for a jolt of Christmas as it was celebrated in the old days, you'd be hard-pressed to find a better representation than the Victorian Christmas at the Campbell House. The 1851 townhouse is festooned with the sort of piney 'n' shiny decorations that were chic a century and a half ago. It fits right in with the Campbell House's everyday look, as the building has been restored to its original Gilded Age splendor -- even the furniture and fixtures are period correct. Experience the beauty of a pre-electric, no-plastic Christmas; You might find you like it better than what we have now.
