Morning Star Productions wants seconds. In 2011, the company staged a fantastic version of Cannibal! The Musical, and now it's back on the menu. Trey Parker's 1950s-style musical western is based on the true story of Alferd Packer, a pioneer who led a party to their deaths in the winter of 1873-74. Alferd may or may not have been eating his party members along the way, but in Parker's version, he only wants his true love back: his horse, Liane. There's a cyclops, a tribe of Japanese American Indians, persistent ninjas and a terrific score. Just don't see it on an empty stomach. 8 p.m. Thu.-Sat., 2 p.m. Sun. (Nov. 28-Dec. 6). The Ivory Theatre (7620 Michigan Avenue; www.cannibal-STL.com). $20.
Thursdays-Saturdays, 8 p.m.; Sun., Nov. 30, 2 p.m. Starts: Nov. 28. Continues through Dec. 6, 2014
