Celebs: They're What's For Dinner

Most times when you go out for dinner, the food is the focus of the night. Sure, you'll talk to your waiter or waitress, but you're not really paying that person much mind — that is, if he or she is doing the job right. But at Saint Louis Crisis Nursery's Celebrity Waitresses' & Waiters' Night, your attention definitely will be shifted from your plate to whomever is taking care of you for the evening, because it could be anyone from John Carney from KMOX (1120 AM) to Larry Conners of KMOV-TV (Channel 4), and from Dan Galvin, the guy who tells us what's up with Highway 40, to Caitlin Corry, Mrs. Missouri 2009. How cool is that?! This fundraiser takes place at Cardwell's at the Plaza and at Canyon Café, both at Plaza Frontenac (1701 South Lindbergh Boulevard). Call the restaurant of your choice to make your required reservation — dial 314-997-8885 for Cardwell's and 314-872-3443 for Canyon Café — and let the celebrity good times begin. Regular menu prices apply, and your tips get donated to the cause, so be sure to be generous (even if your celeb shouldn't quit his or her day job). Learn more about the night and about Saint Louis Crisis Nursery, which works to prevent child abuse, at www.crisisnurserykids.org.
