With a side of murder, please

The 1920s may have produced those cute fringed dresses and those long cigarette-smokers, but that Prohibition business sure was a racket. Fortunately, St. Louis had its share of bootleggers, at least according to the Bissell Mansion Restaurant and Dinner Theatre's production, The Dapper Flappers. In this participatory murder-mystery, a gang of bootleggin' ladies distributes booze throughout the city, and some of the bootlegger boys ain't too happy about it neither. But are they responsible when the boss-lady of the Flappers is killed at a hot party in a cool cave under the Bissell? Enjoy a four-course dinner while you find out! The Dapper Flappers is presented Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. through Sunday, July 30. Tickets to the whole shebang cost $36.95 to $40.95; make your reservations by calling 314-533-9830. The mansion is located at 4426 Randall Place (www.bissellmansiontheatre.com).
Fridays-Sundays. Starts: May 27. Continues through July 30
