Kids clay classes at Laumeier
Learn the basics of using the potter’s wheel to make functional clay pieces and non-functional sculptures during this 5-week class. Study the fundamental techniques of wedging, centering and raising cylindrical forms such as bowls, cups and vases. Includes an introduction to glazing. Wear old clothes, bring a towel and plan on getting messy! Ages 8 to 15 / Saturdays, January 29 - February 26 / 9:30–11 a.m. / $105
