Bring a box of Franzia to the country-club picnic, and you risk ostracism. But bring your own wine to the grounds of the gorgeous Cabanne House (5300 Lindell Boulevard) tonight, and everyone will love you for it. In fact, bring your own glass, too, and maybe some yummy snacks. Sharing and mingling are what Wine in the City is all about. This laid-back networking event -- presented by the social volunteer group Fuel, Connect With… and more than 25 other organizations -- is the perfect place to meet young St. Louisans who are interested in developing their careers and giving back to their community. Wine in the City begins at 5:30 p.m., and admission is free when you bring a bottle of wine or a dish to share; souvenir goblets cost $5. Visit for more information.
