Come Empty-Handed, Leave with a Carful 

Treasure-hunting is a lovely pastime, especially when someone gathers up all of the treasure chests and plops them down in one location for your leisurely browsing. Such is the case with the Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra's Gypsy Caravan craft fair/flea market/antique show/awesome fest. The caravan is in a new location this year -- the Family Arena (2002 Arena Parkway, St. Charles) -- but the volume of merchandise remains large. You'll find booths both inside the venue and out, all chock-full of plenty of loot worthy of some space in your life -- we're talking everything from fairy wings to old-school printer blocks, baby quilts to vintage linens, and much, much more. From 7 to 9 a.m. on Monday, May 26, you'll pay $20 to have exclusive access to the goodies, and for the rest of the day (until 5 p.m.), the admission price is $10. There's also a super-special preview time from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, May 25; admission to this pre-Caravan Caravan costs $30 and also nets you next-day admission.
