Bobby has loads of friends and three girlfriends, so you'd think he'd never be lonely. His problem is that all of his friends are married to each other, so he's a singleton floating in a sea of couples. This year he turns 35, and his gift to himself is a great deal of introspection. Is he happy with his life? Is marriage as bad as it looks from the outside? Stephen Sondheim's musical Company explores these questions through a series of incisive songs about love, life and human frailty. The Washington University Performing Arts Department presents Company at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 2 p.m. Sunday (October 9 through 18) at Washington University's Edison Theatre (6445 Forsyth Boulevard; 314-935-6543 or Tickets are $10 to $15.
