COVID-19 Crackdown: No Vaccine or Test? No Entry At These St. Louis Places [PHOTOS]

Vaccine mandates or negative tests requirements keep rolling in. As we close in on two years of the COVID-19 pandemic, the light at the end of the tunnel is there. But, due to vaccine hesitancy and the delta variant, businesses are fearful of a looming shutdown. With that in mind, more than 30 businesses have changed their COVID-19 policies to include either proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test within a certain timeframe.

This list includes bars, restaurants and music venues.

O'Connell's Pub
(4652 Shaw Avenue, 314-773-6600)
O'Connell's Pub has a fully vaccinated staff and wearing masks, making it a great place to grab a bite while remaining as safe as possible in the COVID-19 pandemic. The pub also recently announced it will require guests to be vaccinated in a Facebook post, with the owner saying:"If you aren't vaccinated or don't plan to be vaccinated, don't come. Ever."

O'Connell's Pub has a fully vaccinated staff and wearing masks, making it a great place to grab a bite while remaining as safe as possible in the COVID-19 pandemic. The pub also recently announced it will require guests to be vaccinated in a Facebook post, with the owner saying:"If you aren't vaccinated or don't plan to be vaccinated, don't come. Ever."

As the return of hockey looms, in order to get into the Enterprise Center and watch the Blues duke it out for a second Stanley Cup, you'll have to show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test. Read more here.

As of July 28, Apotheosis put their foot down and decided to require proof of COVID-19 vaccination. They  tweeted "We cannot – we WILL NOT – risk the health of our customers, our staff, and everyone’s families because of an irresponsible person who ignores the science and chooses to spread COVID-19 to others." A picture of a vaccination card or the actual card will work as proof, along with a valid photo ID.

According to their website,“audience members age twelve and up must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to attend a performance and will be asked to show proof of vaccination upon arrival at the theater” or “Unvaccinated patrons ages twelve and up with documented medical conditions must be able to provide a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours of the performance or a negative antigen test taken within six hours of the performance.” Mask wearing is also required.
