Chanticleer, the all-male chorus with amazing range, is named for the singing rooster in Geoffrey Chaucer's The Canterbury Tales -- and it's not every day that the barnyard bird gets such recognition. But this group has been giving props to the rooster with the pipes for nearly 30 years, as it has brought beautiful, diverse music to San Francisco and beyond.
