Sonny, listen close and reap the benefits: You gotta learn to dance. The fairer sex swoons for a man who can lead. Seriously. Check this out: "Ladies love a fella who can dance the Tarantella." If it wasn't true it wouldn't rhyme. But the days of cotillion and Arthur Murray dance studios are over, right? Wrong. You — yes, you, a lead-footed clod who doesn't know his elbow from a Sugar tuck — could learn to dance. And not just that herky-jerky crap that's all over the television. You could learn the sexiest of all vertical dances, the tango. And it will only cost you $8. At 7 p.m. at the Center of Creative Arts (524 Trinity Avenue, University City; 314-725-6555 or on Friday and Saturday (November 30 and December 1), you can take instruction from COCA's fine dance teachers then practice your new, sensual moves from 8 p.m. till midnight. If you bring your own partner (good luck with that, Stiff), it's $15 for the two of you. Opening your weekend with two nights of dancing is the right way to start a party, Son. "Ain't no kind of romancer like a solid-gold dancer." See? Truth.
