Danita Mumphard pays tribute to Ella Fitzgerald at Jacoby 7:00 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 24 with her original songs and jazz standards. Gospel is Mumphard’s first love but jazz found a place in her heart when she got older. “Gospel and jazz aren’t worlds apart. Both allow for artistic expression and move people in indescribable ways.” Mumphard’s four CDs will be on sale that night for $10 each. Doors open 60 minutes in advance so the public can view the final day of exhibits “Natural Force” and the opening of “Art for All.” Seating is first come; cash bar available.
