Desert -- Performed

In Rosa Barba: Desert -- Performed, the Berlin-based artist installs sculptural films that investigate the American desert as a cinematically fabled and policy-disputed locale. The exhibition opens with a free reception on Friday September 7, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis (3750 Washington Boulevard) concurrently with Leslie Hewitt: Sudden Glare of the Sun and Jonathan Horowitz: My Land/Your Land: Election '12.
Wednesdays-Sundays. Starts: Sept. 7. Continues through Dec. 30, 2012
