If you watched any of the recent Olympics, you saw some of the world's greatest athletes participating at the highest level of sport. Los Angeles' Diavolo is sorta like the Olympics, but moreso. Dancers from all disciplines join forces with martial artists and stunt performers  to create kinesthetic art on set pieces that range from skateboard ramps to a mysterious, shape-shifting cube. It's intense, it's dynamic and Dance St. Louis brings it to St. Louis for three shows. Diavolo takes place at 8 p.m. Friday and 2 and 8 p.m. Saturday (February 28 through March 1) at the Touhill Performing Arts Center on the University of Missouri-St. Louis campus (1 University Boulevard at Natural Bridge Road; 314-516-4949 or www.touhill.org). Tickets are $35 to $55.
Fri., Feb. 28, 8 p.m.; Sat., March 1, 2 & 8 p.m., 2014
