Dressed for Success

Who knew that the Old Testament, with all its famine and betrayal, had a musical side? Broadway phenom Andrew Lloyd Weber did, and his Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat has been a success since its creation as a pop cantata in 1968. This musical retelling of the life of Joseph, the favorite son of his father, Jacob, and all of Israel, features a host of musical styles and is family-friendly. American Idol fans can rejoice in seeing former contestants turned husband-and-wife team Diana DeGarmo and Ace Young star on stage as Joseph and the Narrator, respectively.
