Duffle Bag Sew-In for Foster Children

@ City Sewing Room, 6700 Arsenal St., St. Louis, MO. 63139
The St. Louis Chapter of the American Sewing Guild will host a Duffle Bag Sew-In at City Sewing Room. We will be making duffle bags to donate to programs that place children in foster care. The bags are intended to be given to children who move between residences. One of our members learned that each child is typically given a plastic trash bag to up pack personal items. We will send each hand-made duffle bag out with a personalized label, letting that child know that he or she is special. Experienced sew-ers are welcome to participate.
