Egg-cellent Egg-stravaganzas

Attention, adults who lived in apartments or condos as kids; listen up, full-grown only children: You can finally compete in an outdoor egg hunt! With other people! No more will you only have memories of looking behind the bookends and couch cushions for eggs! No longer will you associate egg-hunting with casually searching around your own yard — all alone — to collect everything the Easter bunny left! Tonight, you have a couple of opportunities to show the other adults that your boring childhood egg hunts aren't a handicap — they just made you hungrier to win! Here's where the adult egg fun goes down: There's a BYOB (and flashlight) hunt at White Birch Park (1186 Teson Road, Hazelwood; call 314-839-5575 for tickets) from 7 to 10 p.m. A band provides a soundtrack, and fireworks finish the night off; the cost to hunt the prize eggs is $8, and you must be 21 or older. And those in the Webster Groves area can drop by Blackburn Park (Edgar and East Jackson roads) at 7:30 p.m. with basket and flashlight in hand to dominate the hidden, goodie-filled eggs. This eighteen-and-up hunt costs $5; call 314-647-1003 for more information.
