Eisley/The Lion & The Snail/Christie DuPree

8 p.m. Tuesday, June 29. The Old Rock House, 1200 South Seventh Street.

Eisley has humble beginnings: The band formed in the teenage bedrooms of sisters Chauntelle and Sherri DuPree back in 1997. But with several EPs and two albums under its belt, Eisley's accomplishments are quite a bit beyond its years. The group – which is comprised of siblings and a cousin, whose collective age averages out to 22 — is bringing its wholesome, innocent, pretty soft-rock to the Old Rock House as part of its Mild Mild Midwest Tour. If the sisters' gorgeous, impossibly sweet vocals haven't already won you over, they've used our very own Arch on the tour's posters in an attempt to seal the deal. The littlest sister of the family, twenty-year-old Christie DuPree, is touring with the group and will open the show with a solo appearance. The Lion & the Snail is also performing.
