Parties of the superunderground variety can't compete with what PanOptic Productions has in store for the third installment of the Winter Warpdrive. Top North American DJ D:Fuse (pictured), master sound manipulator Burufunk, San Francisco's DJ Forest Green, local favorite Rob Lemon and others all come together to warm up this winter night by filling the Roberts Orpheum Theater (416 North Ninth Street; 314-588-0388 or with sizzling beats. And as if the music wasn't going to be hot enough, the Fire Technicians will actually bring the flames. The doors for this eighteen-and-older party open at 8:30 p.m., and music begins to bump at 9 p.m. The theater's first floor is open for liquid dancing (among other forms), and the two upper balconies provide seating with a view.
