The International Photography Hall of Fame and Museum presents: “Ernst Haas: Color Brought to Life”. The exhibition will be on display July 20th through October 8th, 2016 and consists of 43 color prints spanning Haas’ 40 year career in photography. As one of the most influential photographers of the 20th century, Ernst Haas is considered a pioneer of color photography. The Vienna born Haas declined an offer to join LIFE magazine and instead joined the Magnum Photos cooperative in 1949. Through this opportunity Haas developed close associations with Robert Capa, Henri Cartier-Bresson, and Werner Bischof.
