This is — hands down — the worst Target store in the St. Louis area. It might actually be the worst Target location on the planet and it’s all because of the parking lot. The parking lot is crazy busy and hectic at all times of the day. The parking spaces are weirdly small and everyone circling that lot looking for a small spot to park in is mad as heck. The entire Brentwood Promenade is notorious for its stressful parking situation, which means that a visit to this Target doesn’t even count as a consumerist escape— it’s work. You come home in worse shape than you were when you left. Would not recommend. Two big thumbs down. Only visit the Target in Brentwood if you want to experience the feeling of your soul crawling out of your body and look pure evil in the eye.

This store has a weird layout. It has two entrances, but the more prominent one welcomes you into the butt-end of the store — you walk straight into the office supply section instead of into the clothing section. It’s a high-traffic location and very stressful because it is full of Karens every hour of the day. Also, nobody ever picks up the dang phone there so don’t even try to call.

This target just… sucks, man. There’s no Starbucks. There’s nothing good about it. The parking lot is always full of cars going way too fast. And you have to drive on Lindbergh to get there, which means you might be taking your life into your hands. In a way that’s difficult to explain, it just feels like a Walmart instead of a Target. Avoid if possible.

This store is nothing special. The lines are long, there's never more than a couple cashiers and it's all around just "meh." But, they do have a great dollar section.

This is the point in the list where the Targets start to get better. The Bridgeton location is a workhorse Target. It’s not exceptional but there are no big problems with it, either. It is decent. The main thing it has going for it is its double Starbucks situation. There’s a Starbucks in the Target and a stand-alone location right outside.

This is a solid Target. It doesn’t have a Starbucks (though there’s one just a few doors down) but it does have a long list of amenities not offered at other Targets in town. In addition to the usual grocery and booze section, this one also has a CVS, a cell phone activation counter and they’ve even been known to have an ear piercing station on site, too.

With a Starbucks, a CVS and a fresh grocery section all on site, it’s hard to go wrong at the Arnold location of Target. It’s also right next to a Home Depot and an other shopping spots, so it’s easy to get all of your various shopping done in just one trip.

This Target is big, but it can be overwhelming. It’s set up differently than other Targets, but the important elements (like the Starbucks and the CVS) are still easy to find. It’s easy to get turned around at this location, so enter with some patience. You’ll be rewarded with the a large variety of products to choose from and well-stocked shelves.

This is a cool Target just to hang out in, which works out well because they also have optical service there and they usually need time in those places to process your order. While you wait, you can visit the on-site Starbucks or CVS or maybe even get your ears pierced at “Ear Piercing by Rowan,” which is open from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. on the weekends.

This huge Target was just remodeled and they’ve focused on one of the more popular types of items at Target: the clothing. The clothing section is big and always well stocked. The bathrooms here can be questionable, though, so beware. Also, make sure to stop into Saullo's Restaurant or Mario’s Donuts and Cafe just outside this location. They are delicious.

This Target opens an hour early (from 8 a.m. until 9 a.m.) for “vulnerable guests.” In these times, that means that the elderly, who are more likely to have serious issues from a COVID-19 infection, can shop more safely without having rude people cough on them. This location is set up a little bit weird and can feel a bit hectic at the checkout counters, but it’s always well stocked. Though it has a busy parking lot, it’s not at all like dealing with the Brentwood parking lot. It also has a T.J. Maxx right next door, so it’s the perfect Target for you if you’re a Target-head and a Maxxinista.

It’s big. It’s clean. It’s well-stocked. It has a Starbucks. It has a CVS. The parking is easy and it’s right near the only Costco in the area. Way to go, South County Target. You’re killing it.

This Target location is so good that it would make anyone fall in love with the store. It’s super chill, has ample parking, is rarely crowded and has a good selection of clothing and clothing sizes. It also has a Starbucks, a CVS and a fantastic booze section. No complaints.

As the only Target in the city, the Hampton Village location has to work extra hard to keep everyone satisfied. It’s up to the task, though, and even have a few secret weapons to keep this well-oiled machine cranking out happy customers. In addition to the Starbucks and the CVS, this spot has a nearby drive-through ATM and two choices of parking: the surface lot in the fron of the store and the covered underground parking out back. There’s something extra special at this spot, too: a cart escalator. It’s an escalator for your cart that rides alongside the escalator for your body. You and your cart get to go on a ride at the same time at right about the same speed. It’s mesmerising to both kids and adults and it feels like the future. Park in the underground lot to try it on your way out.

Shopping in this Target feels like you died and went to heaven. You hear angels singing upon entering. It’s spotless. It’s very chill. It’s well-stocked. The parking lot is usually darn near deserted and you can get a parking spot right up front. Seriously, this Target feels like one in a dream. Or it feels like God made it especially for you and you get to just float through and grab all of the things you need because they’re all in stock and they’re all in your size. Even if this Target isn’t near you, you might end up there to track down an item because they always have the things there that are sold out in other stores. This is the good place.
