Centers on a police officer who picks up on a plot by women to terminate men. Sergeant Jim Yip navigates the tortuous and shady corridors of the establishment while trying to accomplish his new-found mission in life: saving humanity (at least the male half) from an evil syndicate of female assassins. Constantly nagged by his mother-in-law for not being a rich businessman or a higher-ranking police officer and neglected by his cold, distant wife, Yip seems isolated from his colleagues in the Hong Kong police department, as if he doesn't quite fit within the system. One day, he is called to replace a co-worker in the interrogation of Kwan, a lunatic found peeping in a female lavatory. Kwan at first pleads innocent: he is not a pervert; he was simply trying to collect evidence of secret women's meetings. But when he later changes his deposition, Yip begins to investigate him, discovering all kinds of unsettling new clues to a terrible mystery.
